Learn the division of labor. We must do what only human beings can do, and let God do what only God will do. We must agonize in prayer, continually bringing the issue before God in prayer. Our commanded duty is to bring our requests before the Lord of the Universe, then stand back and watch God answer in His own unique way.

We must spend more time praising God for His results, rather than requesting the answers we seek and telling God how He must answer us.

Sometimes we pray much, but don’t learn much, because our prayer is all about our needs and how we want things done. Our prayers are not about God and Who He is. When we learn the nature of God, we’ll let Him answer our prayer the way He wishes.

When we spend much time in worship and adoration, we focus on God. The more we praise God for what He has done in the past, the more we learn about God; and we will learn what He can do in the future.

Also, we must spend more time worshiping God for what He has done in the past. When we do that, God is more likely to continue working for us today. In addition to that, worship puts us on “praying ground.”Therefore, when we leave worship to enter our time of intercession, perhaps we are more likely to get our requests answered than previously when we only talked to God without listening to Him.

So don’t tell God how to do His work; rather, ask God for His work to be accomplished and let God do it in His own way. God has always done it His way, but it takes His servants a long time to learn this lesson.
